Premio Locus Horror Scheda generale

Il Premio Locus per il miglior romanzo dell'orrore e dark fantasy è stato un premio letterario conferito con cadenza annuale della rivista mensile statunitense Locus, facente parte dei Premi Locus. Il premio comprendeva anche i romanzi dark fantasy, fino ad allora premiati con il Premio Locus per il miglior romanzo fantasy, dopo la soppressione del premio, avvenuta nel 1999 i dark fantasy sono nuovamente premiati con la formula precedente. Il premio viene consegnato con cadenza annuale dal 1989 al 1999 ad eccezione del 1998. Il 24 giugno 2017, durante il Locus Awards Weekend a Seattle, presentati da Connie Willis, sono stati assegnati i premi Locus, tra questi, il Premio Locus per il miglior romanzo Horror, conferendo nuovamente il premio a distanza di 19 anni.
